The BIG Apple

Mike and I got a bit of cabin fever and decided to take a trip.
We settled on New York City. I was excited to return to the city I love and lived in for several years and Mike loves New York was was happy about any excuse to visit.
After a lot of phone calls, emails, and research, I figured out how to get Cole's medical equipment to New York. The people at our home-care company were AWESOME!!
After all was settled, I packed the boys and off the four of us went.
We took the redeye out and the boys slept really well. We were a little apprehensive, but it all went well in the end. Once we arrived to he muggy heat, we went straight to the hotel for a nap. We had tickets for the Yankee's later that day and wanted to be well rested.
I dressed the boys up in their Yankee colors and off we went. THe game was a lot of fun and Gavin made the jumbo-tron!! All of the people around us loved the little guys.

Gavin the Great LOVED being out and about and looking around.
Time Square was crazy as always, but he seemed to thrive and love every minute.
King Cole was indifferent! We ate at lots of yummy restaurants, toured the MET, rode the subway, walked the park, enjoyed FAO Schwartz with the boys, saw the World Trade Center, and got the boys AC/DC t-shirts. I mean what little boys life is complete without AC/DC?!
The entire trip was great. We had fun from beginning to end and couldn't believe how great the little rulers were. I suppose when you are sired by parents who LOVE to travel at least a small part of that gets passed on...I am hoping the same hold true for a LOVE of college football!
